The following highlights the new features, enhancements, and bug fixes included in the VirtualCare 1.25.0 release. This release will be available in your UAT environment as of April 10, 2019 and your Production environment as of April 17, 2019. Please note, these dates are subject to change.
Added the ability to turn on and off any mention of biological sex within VirtualCare. This includes a patient’s Profile, a patient’s Settings, provider’s Patient list, patient or dependent creation or editing, and the incoming patient list.
Note: Due to this update, the batch patient upload template has changed. The headers now include: PSS ID, First Name, Last Name, Sex, Birthday, Email, Health Card, Health Card Version Code, Health Care Province, Rostered, Address Line 1, Address Line 2, City, Province, and Postal Code. This template update will take effect on April 17, 2019 when the Production environment is updated. Click here for more information.
Dependent declining update
When declining a dependent, providers will now see an intermediate state between Decline and Declined: Declining.
Provider marking patient as unregistered
Previously, when the patient was completing the registration process, the provider had the ability to resend the registration email, despite the patient completing the process. This resulted in the patient’s status transitioning back to unregistered. This has been resolved and patients will no longer experience this issue.
Provider out-of-office Visit requests
Previously, if a provider had set an out of office, their patient would be able to request a Visit with them. This issue has been resolved and if an out of office is set, the patient’s ability to request a visit is disabled.
