How to review Visit Documents

To support providers, nurse practitioners and administrators, we have added a new section to a patient’s visit details page where they can upload, view, and download all patient-related documents. Since all documents are organized in one place, it will be easier to access and manage documents during patient care. This new section is called Visit Documents. This new section and the files within are visible to other clinical users, but hidden from the patient. 

Note: PDFs, JPEGs, and PNG files can be uploaded. A max file size of 10 MB is allowed.

To upload a document, with a visit’s details page, under the new Visit Documents section, click the + Upload button. You may also drag and drop a file from your desktop. 

Once uploaded, the files may be reviewed, downloaded, or deleted.

Additionally, for ease of use, documents uploaded when requesting a visit on behalf of a patient will display in this new Visit Documents section. A message now displays letting users know that these files are only visible to clinical users. Patients themselves may still upload documents during the request process. Any file they upload will display in the Visit Documents section, where it will not be visible to them.

Note: If there is an error uploading the file, a refresh button will display. Click the button to attempt the upload again.
